Life Planning Advisor Graduation 2009
20th May was a day to remember for 286 graduates as it was a significant moment in their career
as a Great Eastern agent. A total of 348 agents gained the title of LPA and 286 agents attended
the auspicious graduation ceremony. LPA programme is another initiative by Great Eastern to
support Bank Negara's call for higher professionalism from agency force in conducting their
business to ensure that consumers' interests are constantly being looked after.
Childrencare's Arts & Crafts Day
ChildrenCare charity project together with Kraftangan Malaysia and Great Eastern Mall create
opportunities for the unfortunate and disabled children from eleven charity homes to explore
their talent in Arts & Crafts by organising ‘ChildrenCare’s Arts & Crafts Day’ on 29th to 31st
May 2009 at Concourse, Great Eastern Mall. About 60 children from eleven homes as far as Pulau
Pinang, Perak dan Pahang used their inventiveness in expressing themselves through arts & crafts
by joining the batik painting and rattan-weaving workshop under the guidance of Kraftangan
Malaysia personnel. Great Eastern ChildrenCare also takes the opportunity to donate RM58,000.00
to eleven homes in order to assist them to buy basic necessities for children. In addition this
3-day event also showcased a variety of local arts & crafts product exhibition such as batik
textiles, woven rattan, bamboo and wood craving, ceramics, brass wear and many more from
Kraftangan Malaysia.
