The Brand Laureate Award 2007-2008
   
Great Eastern won "The Brand Laureate Award - Heritage Award" category for the year 2007-2008. The award presentation ceremony was held at the Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa on 30 June 2008. Mr Koh Yaw Hui, Chief Executive Office of Great Eastern Life Assurance (Malaysia) Berhad received the award on behalf of Great Eastern.
 

Official Opening Ceremony of Wisma Great Eastern Sibu
   
Wisma Great Eastern Sibu was officially opened in the Sarawak state graced by the Chairman of Sibu Municipal Council & Member of Parliament of Lanang - YB Tiong Thai King. The event drew close to 300 people, which consists of policyholders, agents, media and staff.
